Brussels International Airport at Zaventam is the closest airport to Bruges . There are many flights from all over the world to Brussels Zaventum which is only 14km from the centre of Brussels . This busy airport caters for thousands of international business travellers, EEC personnel and tourists throughout the year. The airport is served by international airlines from cities in the UK and North America and from most European capitals and other cities around the world.

On arrival at Brussels airport you can take a train to Gare du Nord, Gare Central or Gare du Midi. The journey takes about 20 minutes. You can then get a connecting train to Bruges from any of these stations in Brussels.
