Accommodation in Bruges - Belgium Travel Guide
Bruges has no shortage of accommodation ranging from luxury hotels to bed and breakfast, youth hostels and camp sites. However, despite the variety and quantity of accommodation in Bruges, it is still advisable to book early if you are planning to travel at the height of the summer season during July and August.
If you haven't booked somewhere to stay in advance, the best place to start looking for accommodation is at the one of the tourist offices in Bruges . There is one at the railway station which is convenient not only if you arrive by train but also if you arrive by car because the railway station is adjacent to the largest and cheapest car park in Bruges. This is one of the car parks on the edge of the city you will be encouraged to use to limit the amount of traffic in the city centre. If you haven't been to Bruges before you will soon see why cars and Bruges do not mix well.
The main tourist office is at the Burg which is right in the centre of Bruges. The tourist office publishes a free leaflet which includes a list of all the hotels and B&Bs in Bruges.
