Wedding and engagement rings can be bought together as part of a matching wedding ring set. Women's wedding rings can be bought with an engagement ring with the same design so they can both be worn together. Silver or gold wedding rings can be matched up together for a two-tone look. There needs to be a common theme though in the shape and style of the rings.

Brides enjoy the convenience of being able to buy both the wedding and the engagement ring together rather than having to go shopping for both separately. It is possible to buy the engagement ring first and then buy the matching wedding band later on, allowing the couple to spread the cost of the rings, rather than having to buy two expensive pieces of jewelry at the same time.
