Where can I get D & G sunglasses?
Dolce&Gabbana website: Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses
D G sunglasses come from the group often known as D&G or simply as Dolce&Gabbana. The two designer brands within the group are top names in the international clothing and luxury goods sectors. It was founded by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who are still the stylistic and creative sources behind both the brands as well as being the leaders behind the growth strategies employed by the group – which at the moment are based upon a focus on the core business as well as balanced development going forward.

Dolce & Gabbana designs, produces and then distributes clothing, leather goods, knitwear, footwear and accessories aimed at the top end of the market. There are also exclusive brand rights to D&G Dolce&Gabbana and Dolce&Gabbana clothing and wristwatches, fragrances, and of course eyewear – all of which are produced and then distributed under licence. Except for when production and distribution are carried out under licence, the company has retained a direct control over the complete value chain for anything bearing the Dolce & Gabbana brand name – going from the creation of the products to the sale of the product.
Within the organization of the group, there are two different structures integrated together. These are the production structure and the network of companies who co-ordinate distribution. Dolce&Gabbana Industria is the chief production company, and that controls two manufacturing facilities located in Incisa and Legnano in Val Da’Arno in addition to a range of companies providing support services and DGS S.p.A, which runs the Italian own-store network. The International marketing operations are headed by the US subsidiary which was established in 1992 in New York and the Japanese subsidiary that was established in Tokyo in 2001. Both of these subsidiaries are wholly owned and they are responsible for co-ordinating the wholesale and retail operations in the markets in which they operate. Own stores located in Europe and China are managed by companies local to the area, and these are wholly owned also by Dolce&Gabbana S.p.A.
The company is doing very well for itself and during the fiscal year of 2003/2004 continued to consolidate the growth that it had experienced over the previous few years. Significant increases were reported in the main business and the financial aggregates. Revenues reached as high as 585.1 million euros which was a rise of 23.2% on the previous period. Net income was up by more than a third to 55.5m euros. The wholesale revenues, which includes the sales of Dolce&Gabbana and D&G Dolce&Gabbana branded products by both the group and the licencees was over 850m euros, which was up 15% on the previous year. The group has almost 200 employees and almost 75 retail stores across the world.
