Often, sexy shoes are considered synonymous with high heeled shoes. There are a number of reasons for this. When women wear high heels they accentuate the physical attributes of femininity. For a start, the legs look longer and straighter because the muscles are tightened in an attempt to walk in the shoes. The back is curved, with bust and behind protruding more than usual. Flat shoes simply don’t cause so many overt changes in the body: in flat shoes, calves are back to their usual, stubby self.

The thing that turns heels into sexy shoes is possibly that they render the woman helpless; she can barely walk in them and has to swing her hips from side to side in order to remain balanced. The shoes take away the power that she would ordinarily have in flats, making her vulnerable and, hence, sexy. Such shoes might have straps near the ankle area, or let the toes peep out at the front. Flat ballet pumps that reveal a tiny bit of the toes before covering up the rest are equally as sexy as three inch stilettos.

Thus when you are wearing or planning to wear sexy shoes, you have to make sure that your feet are in good condition. With open toe shoes give yourself a nice, simple pedicure before displaying your tootsies. Get rid of any hard skin with a pumice stone and moisturise well to keep feet in optimum condition. The reason that shoes are sexy, after all, is that they contain a lovely pair of feet.
