The fashion designer Paul Smith is synonymous with British tailoring, and his range now includes a number of successful collections, from watches and accessories to perfumes and a women’s range. What many people don’t realise is that Smith left school with no qualifications and no intention of becoming a designer. It was only years later, after opening a boutique in his hometown of Nottingham and learning his art at an evening class, that the very first Paul Smith menswear collection was launched.

The Paul Smith shoe collection continues the designer’s classic-but-fun sense of style. The men’s collection is made up of classic brogues, Chelsea boots, and fun sneakers. Many of the classic-look styles are given a fun twist with the introduction of exciting colour options, such as white leather and bright red suede.

For women there’s a mouth-watering selection of colours and styles, all of which look a million dollars, especially the stunning range of evening shoes and stilettos. Our favourites for summer are the retro-look Rhonda leather t-bar sandals, which look just as good off the beach as on it.
