Art shoes have been around for nearly 15 years, but its men’s and women’s footwear range has recently taken the world by storm, regularly appearing in the “must-have” section of some of the top European fashion pages.
One of its most celebrated styles for summer is Levels 992, which is a hand-stitched, wedged sandal, with pull grain leather shoe and three-tiered cork-effect heel. It comes in six different colour options, but our personal favourite is ‘multicolor musgo’, which combines dark brown, beige and pea green.
The Art Company’s distinctive look, branded as ‘Metropolitan Soul’ is targeted towards trendy young city-dwellers between the ages of 18 and 30. In our humble opinion, however, the range fits just as well with the lifestyle and tastes of thirty- and forty-somethings.
A perfect example of said oversight is the Oteiza heeled clog. This is a practical yet fun shoe. It’s made of leather, has anatomic insoles and a feature called ‘comfort lasts’, which basically adapts the outline of the shoes to the shape of the foot giving – as you’d expect – lasting comfort. This is a perfect shoe for busy mums who want comfort but demand style.
So come on all you people at The Art Company – spread the word a little further!
