The Airwalk brand oozes cool. It’s all about the snow, surf, bike and skate culture, looking good and having fun. This ethos is reinforced by the company.

The company now offers snowboarding equipment as well as a fantastic clothing range, but there’s only one thing that Airwalk is famous for – and that’s its shoes.

There’s a definite retro vibe going on with the brand’s current collection. With classic styles like the ‘Prototype’ making a comeback, and future classics like the hi-top ‘Rising Sun’ sneaker, you’ll feel like you’re back in the eighties!

For us, ‘The Vic’ is and will always be the greatest Airwalk shoe. Ok, so only one of us here at Pink Fridge has so much as touched a skateboard (she was seven and it was her elder brothers!), but we can still admire the innovation and sheer genius of it! The Vic was introduced to the market over twenty years ago, but is still one of the industry’s most iconic shoes. Its brilliance lies in its simplicity – a piece of Velcro fabric that protects the laces (otherwise known as a lace saver) which means skaters don’t damage their shoe laces.
