Once you’ve been to the department stores and the designer boutiques try the more bohemian endroit of the Marais (4eme arrondissement). Le Marais is known as Paris’ gay quartier and also borders the Jewish quarter, and it’s a wonderful place to shop and go out. In fact, you might want to go there before you visit the other places because you could spend all day browsing its cool little shops and having tiny cups of coffee and feeling French even though you’re not.
