America's independence from England has been celebrated on July 4th since the original declaration of independence was officially adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4th, 1776. July 4th gifts can be given to celebrate this special occasion. Communities across the US celebrate Independence Day with parades, picnics, marches and fireworks.

Independence Day represents the birth of the United States of America as a separate nation and is one of the most important festivals in the North American calendar.
