Why get a home garden gift? - Gardening is a therapeutic occupation and having a lovely garden to sit outside in during the summer can be very satisfying. The ritual tends to be very rewarding: for some people this is just weeding occasionally and creating a purely decorative garden, while others like to build their own structures and features, or get involved with full on landscaping.

Those growing their own vegetables and herbs would probably appreciate seeds - check planting time to make sure the recipient gets them at the appropriate time. Herb boxes also make lovely presents. Decorative pots for re-potting plants are usually sold at arts-and-crafts market stalls.

Garden features such garden gnomes and water features are popular. There are variations on the garden gnome theme, such as animals or fairies. Decorative pots, plant holders and hanging baskets look attractive in the garden. Garden gift baskets are also popular. These usually contain items such as hand lotion, seeds, gardening gloves, soap, pots, a watering can and/or a bucket. These are good gifts if you know someone who is into gardening, but you aren't sure exactly what to get them.
