A diamond bracelet is perhaps the most unique piece of diamond jewelry that anyone could hope to own. Their sparkling beauty speaks for itself and their exclusivity serves to make them even more desirable. Diamond bracelets come in a myriad of different styles; from slender bangles accented with a single diamond to platinum chains dripping with ice. However, diamond tennis bracelets are the current 'must have'.
Not so long ago tennis bracelets were known as 'diamond line' bracelets, which gives a much better idea of what they actually are (a flexible 'line' of diamonds). However, if we shift the stage to the 1987 US Open Tennis Tournament, then Chris Everett was about to unwittingly start a trend that would last until the present day. The tennis ace was wearing a diamond bracelet given to her by her boyfriend, but somehow lost it in the course of the game. Quite reasonably she refused to resume play until she found her cherished bracelet which luckily didn't take too long. Hence diamond line bracelets became tennis bracelets and the name stuck!
As a rule of thumb diamond bracelets contain more 'rocks' than other diamond jewellery, which means that it can take a little longer to make absolutely sure that you are choosing the right bracelet (especially if you consider the number of zeros on the average price tag). Make sure that you do your homework first and brush up on each aspect of diamond grading (Colour, Carat weight, Clarity and Cut). Before you begin shopping around it's important to have a clear idea of exactly what you want; after all if you are going to compare the prices of diamonds, it must be like with like. Once you have got your head around all of the above (and decided how much you want to spend) get out there and start enjoying yourself, it's a once in a lifetime experience.
