Tova Perfume is a classic scent that has graced the fragrance market with its presence for over twenty years. The first Tova Perfume, created by Norwegian entrepreneur Tova Borgnine, was launched in the early 80's. Her signature scent Tova by Tova is often described as one of those ‘love it or hate it’ scents, could and is one of the most potent and intense perfumes around. Those who love its overwhelming aroma often describe it as being irresistible and addictive.

Tova Perfume combines a blend of jasmine, lavender, citrus and bergamot, and the addition of sandalwood gives the scent its dark, musky and distinct aroma. The success of this perfume owes a lot to the innovative way in which it was originally marketed - in the early nineties Tova Borgnine decided to advertise the signature scent on the famous satellite TV shopping channel, QVC. The audience bought more than eight million bottles!

Of course, Tova has produced many more fragrances over the years. In fact, there are seven fragrances in total, five of which are made for women.

Tova Borgnine was inspired to create another scent after hearing the comments by a caller on the QVC show. The caller described how she and her husband had enjoyed a "Tova night" after she had worn the Tova Perfume that day…and the Tova Nights Perfume was born! This is a floral and oriental scent that enjoys a rich blend of rose and peony. Strong undertones of patchouli and soft sandal wood give this fragrance its smooth, sophisticated and musky base.

Many of Tova's fragrances are inspired by her personal experiences and deep emotions. She reflects her experience of India and China through the popular fragrance, Tova Nirvana. This is a spicy scent with notes of nutmeg, white pepper and subtle hints of pineapple. The fragrance also possesses floral tones of jasmine freesia, violet, green tea and rose.

Body Mind and Spirit is another popular Tova perfume which was introduced to the market in 1992.
