Nomination charms are THE original in Italian composable, interlinking charms.

In 1987, ex-mechanical worker Paulo Gensini took the world by storm when he started Nomination to go up against the giants in the jewelry industry. His invention of the interchangeable and composable bracelet made from stainless steel and 18K gold was an innovative one that gained popularity worldwide. Originally, Nomination bracelets were just ‘letter’ bracelets, but now there are big in more than 500 different charms that can be selected to make up a bracelet.

Building a Nomination Charm Bracelet

To build a bracelet, a starter bracelet is required. These come standard with 13 links, and extra links can be bought to make it the right length to fit around any wrist. Generally, women need 18 links to start and men need 20 links.

Nomination charms come with a number of different finishes on their links, including gold, enamel and gemstones. Symbols and pictures depicted on the charms/links include symbols, letters, flags, zodiac signs, sports and occasions (just to name a few).

As well as the original type of bracelet, Nomination has released a number of other collections that are an alternative to the Composable collection, with interchangeable parts to personalize each item.

As Nomination charms are the original in Italian charms, they are relatively expensive to buy compared to their replica counterparts. This is offset by the fact that the quality of this brand is higher than the knock-offs.
