Who are some of the more prestigious weightlifting supply companies?

The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) was set up in 1920 and took over the governing of the sport of weightlifting from the Gymnastics Federation. The IWF put in place a number of rules to regulate the sport, which are constantly revised and modified. There are many rules that govern weightlifting competitions. These include weight categories, clothing regulations and time restraints. There are also many guidelines concerning the equipment that is used. Another of the top weightlifting suppliers is the Ivanko Barbell Company, which has been around since 1967. Their weightlifting equipment meets the required standards and they are approved by the IWF and IPF. They strive to constantly upgrade and renew their equipment and are in the pursuit of excellence.
