The Lact-e electric breast pump by Ameda is a heavier and more bulky version of the Elite with a weight of 11 pounds. Driven by a piston, the unit can pump at a rate of 48 cycles every sixty seconds. The beauty about the Lact-e is that due to its higher power output it can effectively sustain a pre-set suckling intensity for a longer period.

Portable Breast Pumps

Mothers who are ferrying between work and home sometimes need the added peace of mind of having a unit close by.

The first of the portable Ameda breast pumps is the Purely Yours model. Designed to be used as a double or single action pump, the unit is lightweight and can conveniently carried in the carry tote (sold separately or as part of a package). The "sucking" action is purely controlled by the number of squeezes and the pressure of the squeeze.
