Psychic predictions. The practice of predicting the future is also called divination. It is an imprecise art and can only tell you what is likely to happen in the future based on where you are now. We still have the power to change our destinies and fortune tellers can only tell you where current events or situations or likely to lead. Fortune tellers use different methods to help assess what the future may hold:
ScryingThis is the involves making out images from reading tea leaves, looking at shapes in the clouds or shadows, or gazing at mirrors, or any reflective surface, or crystal balls. These are just a few methods of scrying. To read tea leaves the person must drink a cup of tea (made using loose leaves rather than a tea bag), leave a little bit of liquid in the bottom, turn the cup anti-clockwise three times and turn the cup upside down to drain the remaining liquid. The tea leaf reader then turns the cup round slowly until they can make out images in the leaves. Crystals are believed to have energies and properties that can be harnessed. Crystal balls act as amplifiers, the reader looks in the cloudy depths of the crystal and should see images that can be interpreted.

AstrologyAstrology is the study of the planets and stars. Horoscopes are a prediction of future events using the time and date of your birth. DreamsDreams can be interpreted to predict future events. Dreams predicting the future are known as precognitive dreams. Dreams tend to be symbolic rather than literal, and different images and colours can mean different things. The dreamer should look at the emotions they felt during the dream and anything that stood out particularly. Some images have a general symbolic meaning and a personal significance so the dreamer should think about what the dream meant to them and issues in their life as well as referring to a dream dictionary.
