Online psychic readings - tarot, angels, dreams and more

Modern technology means that it is now possible to get online psychic readings for love, life and career over the Internet. While this can seem slightly impersonal, many prefer the accessibility, privacy and convenience of online psychic readings. Online psychic websites range from those offering horoscopes, tarot cards, angel cards, dreams readings, and tests for psychic ability. Psychic mediums can pass on messages from the dead, some sites claim to be able to give you winning lottery numbers, and others give advice on relationships, life path, career and money. Types of reading include:

• Tarot cards - the psychic lays out tarot cards for you and interprets them, online versions are available where the cards are automatically generated.
• Angel readings - some web sites offer free angel card readings, similar to tarot card readings, where the cards are drawn and interpreted online;
• Dream interpretation - you can send a description of a dream and have it interpreted;
• Horoscopes - you send the exact time and date of your birth and you receive a detailed reading based on the movements of the planets;
• Numerology - this involves adding up the numbers from your birthday and from your name to give you a reading;
• I Ching - this is a Chinese system, coins or yarrow sticks are thrown to form hexagrams and then interpreted - computer-generated readings are available online;
• Rune casting - stones with traditional markings are thrown and interpreted, again computer-generated readings using runes are available.

You can communicate with psychics through chat rooms, either an open one available to the general public, or a restricted one set up so you can have a private reading. More rarely, you can have a reading via webcam where you can watch the psychic doing the reading through a video camera attached to a computer transmitting the information online. This can be a good idea as you can see a real person rather than interacting with a faceless machine. Another option is to have your online psychic reading emailed. This gives you a record of it which is easily referred to in the future. Some give you a free sample reading so you can see what you are getting. This can take the form of a free ten minute chat or an abbreviated form of the reading, for instance for horoscopes or chakra tests.

Most psychic websites have a disclaimer saying that readings are for entertainment value only and should not be taken seriously. There are also sites that do free online psychic readings if you want to see what is available committing to purchasing an online psychic reading.
