Psychic healers UK - accupuncture, aromatherapy, and crystals

Psychic healers in the UK fall into different categories, some work with crystals, others practise alternative therapies such as accupuncture or aromatherapy, and others practise psychic surgery.

Acupuncture

This could be considered a form of paranormal healing as no one understands quite how it works. It is based on a system of meridian lines running throughout the body from the East. Originally it was mainly practised in China but has been used successfully in the West to treat all sorts of physical and psychological ailments, such as depression, insomnia, smoking, even cancer. It is effective for pain relief and can even be used as an alternative to anaesthetic for surgery. Very fine needles are inserted at critical points, just below the surface of the skin, or cones of incense are burned on the points. Acupuncture can also be used in a preventative capacity; it takes a holistic approach and attempts to restore balance within the body to attain good physical and mental health, rather than concentrating on specific symptoms.

Aromatherapy

This is the practice of using essential oils for emotional and physical healing. Lavender oil is very good for burns, anxiety and insomnia for instance. Psychics often use these in healing and other psychic work. They shouldn't be applied to the skin neat as they cause irritation. They can be used in an oil burner with some water, or in a bath.

Crystal healing

Crystals harness and focus the energies from the earth and can be used effectively for healing. Healers lay them on different parts of the body or move them over the affected area. Psychic surgery

This is the practise of performing surgery on a patient through visualisation. No physical incisions are made. It has been brought into disrepute by fraudsters.

Reflexology

This works on the premise that different parts of the body on mapped to different parts of the feet which can be massaged.

Reiki

Reiki is one of the more well-known methods of energy healing, ie a form of healing that involves manipulating the body's natural energies to assist with healing. It means Spirit Life Force Energy and a reiki practitioner allows the energy to flow through them to heal the patient.

Spiritual healers

The healer does not need to be present for this to work. The healer sends out positive, loving thoughts to the patient.
